This coffee is roasted for espresso, and can also be brewed best for stove top and cafetière.
Taste notes of chocolate and nectarine, with a creamy mouthfeel.
Processed as washed, and harvested at an altitude of 1300 – 1350 Masl. The varietals are Caturra and Catuai.
We were drawn to this farm due to their use of solar power and carbon offsetting.
The five-generation Sanchez family operation manages farms in both the Central and West Valleys, with their mill located in Naranjo de Alajuela. Tradition and innovation go hand in hand for the Sanchez’ family.
Costa Rica has a goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2021, and one of the things Santa Anita mill are doing as their part of the work towards this is running their whole milling facility on solar energy.
Our packaging is carbon neutral and entirely recyclable.
