This coffee is roasted for filter.

Best brewed as an AeroPress, V60 or Chemex.

Taste notes of blackcurrant, raisin, winey.

We chose this coffee because we were inspired by the incredible and tragic story of the Aceh region, and the extraordinary, unique taste of this coffee.

Product Information

This coffee comes from a small mill in Pegasing, a district of Takengon in Sumatra’s coffee-famous Aceh region.

After rebuilding their lives and farms after a truly devastating tsunami, which was one of the deadliest natural disasters in history, the people of the Pantan Musara villages have a new focus on coffee, producing both natural and washed coffees.

Only fresh red berries are purchased and supplied by this mill, which are then spread into a drying house or on raised tables to dry.
