This decaffeinated coffee is sourced from the Western region of Limu, close to the birthplace of Arabica coffee. The area is famous for its forests and abundant supply of water.
The forests create ideal conditions for organic matter like fallen leaves that compost and return their nutrients to soil, that keeps the coffee trees well fed.
Farmers selectively handpick coffee cherries and deliver them to nearby washing stations.
