We were drawn to this coffee due to the Medina family’s sustainable production practices, and the transparency of the supply chain through the use of the Ifinca platform.
La Esperanza is owned and operated by Jorge Edison Gomez Medina and his family, spanning 63 acres in the region of Pitalito Huila, Colombia, and has been in the family for three generations. Jorge strives to produce coffee in a sustainable way, without polluting waters or cutting trees.
